Spent part of yesterday on the water with the men and women of Bullhead City Police Department during their Zero Tolerance enforcement operation on the Colorado River.
From OUI enforcement to safety checks and educating boaters, these officers were busy all day working to keep everyone safe on one of the busiest weekends of the year.
It’s easy to see the arrests and citations and miss the bigger picture. The goal is making sure families get home safely at the end of the day. Operating a boat impaired is no different than getting behind the wheel of a car impaired—it puts everyone on the water at risk.
Thank you to the officers, firefighters, and water rescue personnel who spend their holidays protecting ours.
