Code3News org Live Live Scanner and Dispatch — Code3News has officially launched Code3News.org, giving Bullhead City and the surrounding community a new home for local breaking news, public safety coverage, live scanner audio and access to the Code3News Dispatch Pro system.
For years, Code3News has covered incidents throughout Bullhead City through social media, bringing the community information from traffic collisions, structure fires, police activity, water rescues and other major incidents. Now that coverage has a dedicated home at Code3News.org.
The new website was built specifically around Bullhead City and the way Code3News covers breaking news in our community.
BREAKING NEWS HAS A NEW HOME
Code3News.org will serve as the main public website for Code3News reporting.
Readers can follow breaking incidents involving Bullhead City Police, Bullhead City Fire Department and other public safety agencies, along with traffic incidents, river and lake activity, community events and other local news.
When Code3News begins covering a developing incident, information may be published while the scene is still active. As additional information is confirmed from the scene or released by officials, the article can be updated with the latest details.
This gives readers one place to follow an incident as it develops instead of trying to piece together information from multiple social media posts.
THE CODE3NEWS LIVE SCANNER
One of the biggest features of the new website is the Code3News Live Scanner.
The scanner feed is provided directly by Code3News equipment located in Bullhead City and carries little to no delay.
Listeners can hear local public safety radio traffic directly through the custom scanner player on Code3News.org from a phone, tablet or computer.
The Live Scanner gives the community another way to follow developing activity while Code3News works to confirm information and provide updates.
As always, scanner traffic should be considered preliminary. Radio traffic can change rapidly during an incident, and information heard over the scanner is not necessarily confirmed information.
DISPATCH PRO TAKES IT EVEN FURTHER
For people who want more than live scanner audio, Code3News is also opening subscriber access to Dispatch Pro.
Dispatch Pro is a custom public safety monitoring system developed specifically for Code3News.
Instead of requiring someone to continuously listen to the scanner, Dispatch Pro organizes radio traffic into a live dashboard where subscribers can follow activity as it happens.
Dispatch Pro provides access to live scanner activity, generated transcripts, recorded radio traffic, replay capabilities and available recording downloads.
This makes it possible to see recent radio traffic and go back to a transmission that may have been missed.
Dispatch Pro is an informational tool. Scanner transcripts are automatically generated from radio audio and may contain errors caused by radio interference, poor audio quality, overlapping transmissions or other factors.
DISPATCH PRO SUBSCRIPTIONS
Dispatch Pro subscriber access is available for $19.99 per month through Code3News.org.
The entire subscription process is handled through the Code3News website. Subscribers create their account, complete their subscription and then use Code3News.org to securely access Dispatch Pro.
Subscriber accounts are limited to one active device at a time.
Code3News has also built subscription access directly into the system. When a subscription becomes inactive, subscriber access to Dispatch Pro is automatically removed.
BUILT LOCALLY FOR BULLHEAD CITY
Code3News.org, the Live Scanner and Dispatch Pro were not created as generic national news products.
They were built around Bullhead City, Arizona and the community Code3News covers every day.
The goal is to make it easier for residents to find local breaking news, follow developing incidents and have access to tools that provide a closer look at public safety activity throughout the area.
Code3News.org will continue growing as additional stories, photographs, videos, community coverage and new features are added.
This launch represents a major step forward for Code3News, but it is only the beginning.
Thank you to everyone who has followed and supported Code3News over the years.
Welcome to Code3News.org.
