BULLHEAD CITY, Ariz. — A Flash Flood Warning is in effect for the Bullhead City area as severe weather creates the potential for dangerous and life-threatening flooding.
The National Weather Service issued the warning Sunday afternoon, with the alert remaining in effect until 7:15 p.m. PDT.
The emergency alert advises residents not to attempt to travel unless they are fleeing an area subject to flooding or are under an evacuation order.
Residents should avoid flooded roadways, washes and low-lying areas. Never attempt to drive through a flooded roadway, as water can be deeper and moving faster than it appears.
Anyone in an area experiencing flooding should move to higher ground when it is safe to do so and continue monitoring official emergency information as conditions develop.
Code3News will continue monitoring conditions throughout the Bullhead City area and provide updates as additional information becomes available.
